Senior Staff Regulatory Compliance Advisor (multiple positions) sought by General Electric Company in Norwalk, CT to create threat assessments & mitigation guidelines for known exploits & zero-day vulnerabilities for various GE businesses; ensure assets patch levels & manage patching program metrics & performance for various GE businesses; secure GE Corporate information & assets, & ensure ongoing compliance with global regulatory, contractual, & corporate policy requirements. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, STEM or related field & 8 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree related experience. Position Requires: 5 years experience with cyber security; 5 years experience with commercial vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, VMDR, & Rapid7 InsightVM; 5 years experience defining & implementing data protection & governance processes & technologies; 2 years experience with ETL, data pipelines, BI & multiple RDBMS i.e. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar technology; 2 years experience with scripting automation using batch scripts, PowerShell, shell scripting, NodeJS & python; 4 years experience in middleware/API design using Java, .net, NodeJS, or similar tech; & 4 years experience in Web & Desktop application design incl UI/UX/ JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
