RESPONSIBILITIES
The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. In support of this mission, Technical Security Analysts detect and mitigate close access technical attacks of intentional (Technical Surveillance Countermeasures [TSCM] or Wireless Security [WiSEC]) and unintentional (TEMPEST) threats emanating from secure facilities, networks, and equipment that could potentially be used to compromise sensitive and National Security information. Technical Security Analysts also perform technical and operational functions in radio frequency (RF) survey, physical (structural, network) evaluations and complete analysis of data collected to characterize attacks and develop operationally effective technical security countermeasures supporting efforts that include physical security, counterintelligence, insider threat, counter-terrorism and cybersecurity. SKILLS
Technical Security Analysts perform a broad spectrum of duties; they may: Conduct risk assessments on affiliates, facilities, operations, or systems. Inspect and monitor facilities for compliance with applicable codes, laws, and regulations during construction. Perform audits, inspections, and investigations in accordance with government regulations and make appropriate recommendations for improvement. Report results and findings from assessments, investigations, and evaluations to appropriate parties.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
