RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform, advise, and/or supervise professional nursing and occupational health care services involving health maintenance/disease prevention, emergency care, treatment of injuries/illnesses, health counseling, travel health services and protections from occupational and environmental hazards.
SKILLS
- Provide medical care and services through acute and urgent care and emergency response. - Provide mission-specific medical evaluations and treatment through physical examinations and travel medicine consultations. - Assist with medical examinations and emergency medical care. - Operate specialized medical equipment or instruments. - Provide health care information or test results to patients or clients. - Promote employee wellness through training, health education, or clinical care.
PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Salary offers are based on candidate's education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $74,950 - $138,868 (Full Performance - Senior Level Experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Office of Occupational Health Environmental and Safety Services (OHESS) known as the NSA Medical Center, supports the mission by applying professional knowledge in Occupational Health, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene and Safety operating in accordance with all governing body regulations. OHESS personnel will provide clinical services, including emergency response, physical exams, immunizations, vision and preventative health screenings. Personnel will also provide technical, managerial, and administrative services to the entire workforce. Promoting, assessing and optimizing the health and safety of the NSA workforce and workplace is always priority.
