Library/Media Center Technician
High school diploma with formal or informal training as a Media Technician. Ability to obtain an Educational Aid Permit. Able to participate as a fully functional member of the high school faculty. Experience with or knowledge of multi-media applications. Two- or Four-year technology/media degree preferred. Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Library/Media Center Technician is directly responsible for the overall operation of the Media Center and all equipment and instructional materials. He/she will ensure effective communication and work cooperatively as a member of the school team. He/she will perform other duties as assigned by Director. Library/Media Center Technician will develop, with the Director, goals and objectives, establish priorities, and allocate resources necessary to meet the goals established by Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Board of Education.
