Operationalize the team’s processes and approach on a global scale. Create alignment with cross-functional leaders in engineering, data science, design, marketing, and member experience. Lead the teams in setting their goals, success metrics and roadmaps, ensuring they align with the brand’s mission and drive maximum impact for the business. Deeply understand the brand’s business and the metrics that impact the performance while pushing the teams to develop a deeper product sense for what makes members more successful on the app. Identify new opportunities and forge partnerships with other teams across the brand by understanding their goals. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels. Responsible for setting and owning the long-term strategy for the Recommendations group based on the company's objectives and insights gathered from experimentation and user testing. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $205,000 - $270,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 5 years of professional experience performing product management at a high-growth consumer tech company (including driving product strategy and coordinating with cross-functional teams) to support product launches and growth. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 3 years of professional experience performing product management at a high-growth consumer tech company (including driving product strategy and coordinating with cross-functional teams) to support product launches and growth. Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience leading product teams for consumer mobile apps and social networking businesses; 3 years of professional experience analyzing consumer behavior, user experience design, user research methods and consumer product fundamentals and frameworks; 3 years of professional experience launching data-driven consumer products; 3 years of professional experience defining metrics and making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing and qualitative user insights; 3 years of professional experience delivering quarterly results and orchestrating the adoption of new technologies, processes, and tools across the organization.
