Since the one truck beginning we have grown to a fleet of over 650 trucks and employment of over 1,200 drivers and support staff. MTS was founded in 1978 by Minnie Martin. Today, we operate under the same high quality transportation principals she instilled to her company some 30 years ago! MTS is dedicated to technology and providing their customers with a low-cost, high quality transportation solution. We know that our employees are the heart and soul of our company and we strive to treat all our employees with respect and dignity. A solid focus on customer service has been the core to our growth and development over the years. Martin’s significant revenue growth is attributable to internal growth with existing customers as well as acquisitions. Since 2003, MTS has acquired 6 different motor carriers.Today, MTS is run by Owner, Richard E. Johnston (Ric) along with a team of highly seasoned transportation veterans.
