Accountant (Stamford, CT)
Perform accounting procedures & practices, including maintaining & analyzing general ledger accounts, AR, AP & payroll subsidiary ledgers. Process, record & analyze transactions in connection with the preparation of costing monthly, quarterly, & annual financial statements & closings, including medical code billing, monthly aging report analysis, & follow-ups on AR & Deductibles. Work closely with insurance companies to appeal & negotiate denial claims, performing the necessary accounting practices to amend, revise &/or reconcile financial documents accordingly per these appeals & negotiations. Bachelors in Accounting & 1 year of experience in job or 1 year of tax accounting experience.
