Lynchburg Community Action Group, Inc. (Lyn-CAG), a local 501(c)(3) non-profit, is seeking a highly motivated Head Start Program Director. Applications will be accepted until January 24, 2020.
Head Start Director (Full-time with benefits)
General Description: Head Start Director coordinates all functions of the program, provides leadership, supervises the Head Start staff, and assures that all program mandates and regulations are met in compliance with federal Head Start Performance Standards.
General Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or equivalent; plus five years professional leadership/management experience. A Master's Degree is preferred. Experience in human services program management, operations and evaluation, and management information systems is required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills along with written and verbal communication. Computer skills in Microsoft Office. Must be a team builder and team player. The pay for this position is proportionate with experience.
