The Administrative Assistant III reports to the Dean of Technical Programs and performs administrative and office support activities for the division.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience; plus excellent benefits and retirement will report to the Dean of Technical Programs. Will be responsible for performing administrative and office support activities for the division.
Responsibilities include project management, general record management, clerical duties, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, managing spreadsheets, filing, and faxing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate's Degree from an accredited college. Minimum of five years of previous office experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) required. Banner experience preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to pay attention to detail. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
