Water Laboratory Technician

The Lake County Department of Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Water Laboratory Technician. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, and must possess at least 6 months of general laboratory experience, or completion of a recognized course for laboratory techniques, or college courses in chemistry or biology. A valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and a drug screen are required. Applicants should be knowledgeable in techniques, chemistry, occupational hazards and safety precautions in a laboratory. Knowledge of mathematics, recordkeeping and data entry is preferred. A background in water analysis is desirable. Starting salary is $20.35 - $25.80 per hour, based on qualifications.
