Lafourche Parish Government is currently accepting resumes for the full-time position of
This leadership position reports directly to the Parish President and will be responsible for
overseeing all administrative
functions, the supervision of all department heads, supervision of all financial activities, and all other related procedures for the parish. The Parish Administrator will need to be able to attend parish council meetings twice monthly. The candidate
selected must be a resident of
Lafourche Parish for at least one (1) year prior to appointment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in military and/or government; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Substantial knowledge of local government responsibilities and programs is a must.
Salary for the position shall be as approved by council.
