Live Bird Hanger, 3rd Shift
Live Bird Hanger Position: Koch Foods is recruiting a 3rd Shift Live Bird Production Hanger for its production plant located in Chattanooga, TN. Koch Foods is a leading poultry processing company, specializing in quality products and customer service. Koch Foods of Chattanooga is a full, whole-bird processing plant.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Starts the production process by hanging live chicken as soon as it is delivered to the department. Will pick up chickens as trained. Will ensure that all chickens are secured on the production line. Will be expected to hang 25 birds per minute. Task rotation in other departments may be required when necessary.
General Job duties/ tasks: All other duties as assigned Will adhere to company animal welfare policy, and other state and local laws. Punctual, regular attendance is a requirement for this job May be required to work some weekends.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Poultry, manufacturing, or other related industry experience a plus, but not required.
