Part-time Security/Nightwatch Kendal at Oberlin. Our premier retirement community has 2 open part-time positions (24 hours/week) for Security/Nightwatch duties immediately available. One position will work 3pm-11:30pm and the other will work 11:00pm-7:30am for three shifts weekly. Positions require scheduled weekends and holidays on a rotating basis with rest of team members.

Qualifications/requirements include:

• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.

• Basic maintenance skills for community mechanicals and troubleshooting equipment issues.

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively without supervision, focused and alert to the Kendal community’s security needs during evening overnight hours.

• Valid Ohio driver’s license that does not exceed limitations set by Kendal’s insurance carrier.

• Excellent communicator with good writing skills for reporting.

• Pleasant, helpful character with excellent customer service skills.

Full-time Housekeeper Positions Kendal at Oberlin. Kendal at Oberlin, Lorain County’s premier continuing care retirement community, has immediate openings for full-time Housekeeper: Independent Living Housekeeper working 8am-4:30pm. Responsibilities include providing cleaning services of thorough, consistent sanitary conditions are maintained in our residents’ homes. Night Community Center Housekeeper working 11pm-7:30am. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, bathrooms, common spaces, carpet cleaning and general floor care.

Qualifications/requirements include:

• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English;

• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for 90% of shift;

• Knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning chemicals, equipment and techniques;

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with limited supervision;

• Pleasant, helpful character with excellent customer service skills.
