Community Corrections Case Aide
The class provides administrative and case management support to probation officers. Duties required require the interpretation of policies and procedures, court sentencing orders and the use of independent judgement. Responsibilities include composing editing and reviews of specialized correspondence. Assisting probation officer with the supervision of offenders. Collaboration with law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies. Monitor compliance and make referrals to other agencies.
Responsibilities may also include creating unique, complex documents and correspondence, reviewing, correcting and approving data, maintain and documenting in a database Responsibilities; providing information to participants; reviewing information; interviewing participants; maintaining and coordinating the collection and maintenance of related files.
This position requires moderate to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Abode Pro, and Excel. Also required is the ability to read and interpret legal documents along with strong written and oral communication skills. This position is classified as a B21 with a starting wage of $20.54/hour.
