Duties: Design and develop provisioning and configuration management solutions. Responsible for analysis of the organization's business needs. Define best practices and measures within the existing solution set. Analyze emerging technologies in the automation space, translating implications of the technologies into an effective IT vision and strategy. Keep up-to-date on industry trends and the latest technology innovations to forecast solutions, and anticipate emerging business changes. Drive the design and development of standards, API payloads, and interfaces. Collaborate with other technologists across Global Technology to assess the current state, as well as develop the road map to achieve end-state goals. Articulate the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information and seek management assistance. Document medium-to-large scale projects and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences with minimal supervision. Actively provide feedback and strategic recommendations. Collaborate interactively with interface partners to ensure that API solutions are complete, resilient, robust, and easy to troubleshoot. Drive development of innovative improvements.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer/Application Developer or related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: C#; Powershell; Python;.NET; Web Services; .NET Core; Cloud Technologies; API Development; Web API; WPF; Microsoft SQL Server; Configuration Management; Server Deployment Automation; SCCM; Desired State Configuration; Puppet; ANSIBLE; BMC ATRIUM; Full Software Development Life Cycle; Git and other Source code management systems; Agile; Scrum methodologies; and System Center Orchestrator.
