Mountain Empire Older Citizens PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), Big Stone Gap, Virginia, is seeking a Registered Dietitian. This is a full-time, salaried position with generous leave and fringe benefits. Part-time will be considered. The dietitian will plan menus and oversee food services at the PACE Center in Big Stone Gap and oversee menus and education at MEOC congregate meal sites. The dietitian will join the PACE interdisciplinary team to care for older adults with chronic illnesses who live at home and need help with activities of daily living. The interdisciplinary team includes a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, pharmacist, social worker, physical therapist, occupational therapist, home care coordinator, transportation specialist, recreation director and PACE center manager. Together, the team creates care plans and provides health and social services to participants in the program.
