Billing/Collection Specialist - General Admin

Membership based insurance provider for auto finance market looking for a general administrative full time remote employee. We are a small company with a big heart, looking to add someone to our work family who is looking for a long term employment opportunity!

Primary job functions include:

  • answering phones,
  • data entry,
  • handling accounts receivables,
  • some collection work and assisting with insurance status updates and notifications.
  • travel to and attend company hosted conference (location varies) each June (approx 1 week on site)

Ideal candidate will have at least:

  • a high school diploma or equivalent,
  • 12-24 months office/admin experience
  • excellent communication skills.
  • past collection/accts receivable work a plus.
    • Collection work is NOT high pressure collection tactics, more about communicating account status with our customer base and documenting account activity accordingly.
    • Accounts receivable work includes logging incoming payments, processing supporting report documentation, and processing monthly statements to our nationwide client base.

Candidate must have

  • reliable high speed internet capable of handling VoiP phone traffic and business internet needs. 
  • quiet place to be able to work and make/receive calls uninterrupted M-F 9am to 5pm with an hour lunch from 12:30 to 1:30pm.
