Natural Resource Manager
Hubbard County Natural Resource Manager - Full Time Forestry program, 40 hours/week, $23.1786/hour (2019 rates), full benefits package.
Bachelor’s Degree (attach transcript) in Forestry or related field
Associate’s Degree (attach transcript) in Forestry or related field and 4 years forestry work experience to include any combination of the following: silviculture, timber sale preparation, timber sale administration, or forest inventory.
Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
Successfully pass a pre-placement screen, contingent upon a job offer.
Obtain a MN Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License within 1 year of hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Principles and practices of forestry.
Environmental, social and economic interrelationships associated with forest management.
Soil science; silviculture; forest ecology; ecological land classification; timber harvesting techniques; forest inventory; forest pathology and entomology; data management and summary;
Microsoft Office, Word, Access, and Excel; ESRI ArcMap (GIS), Global Positioning Satellite (GPS).
