The Hoopa Valley Tribe is accepting applications to fill the following vacant position: Police Officer, Hoopa Tribal Police Department, Regular, Full Time, Salary: $25.63/hour. Performs a wide variety of peace officer duties involving the protection of life and property, enforcement of laws and Tribal Ordinances, criminal investigation, crime prevention and suppression, case preparation and testimony, and providing information and assistance to the public.
Minimum Requirements: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Must possess a Basic Academy Certificate from a California P.O.S.T. approved academy. Must possess and maintain firearms qualifications. Must have a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable. Must successfully pass a Title 30A Employment Background and a California Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) background check.
