Planning DirectorHoopa Valley Tribe
The Hoopa Valley Tribe is accepting applications to fill the following vacant positions: Planning Director, Hoopa Tribal Planning/Administration Department, Regular, Full Time.
Manages the daily functions, activities and operations of the Planning Department of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Performs advanced technical, professional, full performance administrative and supervisory level work in the Planning Department. Coordinates the Tribe's current and long-range planning functions, including geographic information systems, land-use management, zoning and development review.
Minimum Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Public Administration, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering or closely related field; and at least five (5) years prior planning experience with Tribal Government, Municipality, or other entity. Master's Degree in urban regional planning, environmental planning, urban design, or geography is highly desired. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) membership desired. Must possess a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable.
