Fisheries Biologist I: Hoopa Fisheries Department Regular, Full Time
Salary: GS9 - 10 $52,085.78 - $75,287.45 Depends on Qualification/Experience
Employee will manage the acquisition, maintenance, and use of equipment and supplies. Study basic principles of fish populations, their origins, relationship, development, anatomy, and functions. Assist in the design and implementation of biological studies.
Minimum qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in fisheries biology or related field; and a minimum of three years' experience in fisheries management. Minimum three years' experience implementing and supervising field projects and analysis of results. Two years' experience may be substituted with a Master's of Science degree in fisheries biology or related field. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Must possess a Valid California Driver's License and be insurable.
