Compensation Analyst HMH Hospitals Corp seeks Compensation Analyst (Edison, NJ).
Duties: Assess the organization’s pay structure, research compensation trends and review surveys to determine how our organization’s pay structure compares with that of other organizations and perform complex data and cost analyses to evaluate our current compensation policies. Ensure compliance of existing pay practices with federal and state laws and regulations, including minimum wage, overtime, and equal pay laws. Calculate and determine merit increases and projections to the Finance department for budget planning purposes, as well as calculating all Employee Incentive Plan (EIP) and Management Incentive Plan (MIP) quarterly and annual results. Prepare data files based on awarded criteria and summary results, validate data, and create final metrics for cost analysis and budget impact submission to support the development of the annual bonus and professional development incentives programs. Conduct internal comparison to ensure wage and salary range recommendations are equitable. Gather and analyze data relating to compensation and position management, and present analytical insights to senior management to support decision making. Prepare and analyze audit results and prepare reports, analyze and resolve data issues to support accurate calculations, and validate that pay-for-performance results are in line with the approved budget. Gather and analyze data relating to salary increase metrics.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field plus 1 year of related work experience in human resources or finance. Full term of experience must include: gathering and analyzing data relating to compensation and position management; researching compensation trends and review surveys; ensuring compliance of existing pay practices with federal and state laws and regulations, including workers’ compensation, minimum wage, overtime, and equal pay laws; validating data, and creating metrics for cost analysis and budget impact submission.
