Human Resources Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to Assistant Superintendent

Location: Central Office of the Guilford Public Schools

Description: A non-certified, non-bargaining unit, 12 month position that reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Schools. This fast-paced position requires strong organizational and communication skills including the ability to interact well with others, as well as maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Education and/or Experience: *Experience using Microsoft Access Database, Excel, Word and the Google platform, required *Experience with MUNIS, preferred *Experience using human resource-related software programs, preferred *Experience working in an administrative office position, preferred.

Skills: *Strong interpersonal skills *Strong organizational skills *Strong communication and writing skills *The ability to meet deadlines *The ability to create and maintain accurate records and documents *The ability to maintain confidentiality  

Responsible to: Assistant Superintendent of Operations

Work Period: Full year, 8 hours per day, non-union position with benefits  (8-hour day will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Starting Date: May 3, 2021

Filing Date: March 1, 2021           

Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 as determined by the Superintendent based on qualifications and level of experience
