Software Engineer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC's office in Old Greenwich, CT will serve as a server-side architect of a next generation, multi-asset real-time messaging Platform. Telecommuting available. Salary: $175,000 - $250,000/year. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, + 5 years of professional experience building financial trading systems by programming in C & C++ in Linux server-side environment. Must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: low latency C++ programming in Linux server side environment; building real-time, event-driven applications; object oriented programming & data structures; network programming & Linux O/S internals; building trading systems; hands-on work with Solace & messaging platforms, including Kafka & Aeron; support trading lifecycle in back office systems across Equities, Futures, Options, Fixed Income, Commodities & Foreign Exchange; & Order Management Systems & common 3rd-Party Trading Systems, such as WebICE, MarketAxess, or Bloomberg.
