The Grand Rapids Public Utilities Commission is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Journey Line Worker/Apprentice. The Grand Rapids Public Utilities Commission provides electrical distribution, water and wastewater services to the greater Grand Rapids area.

This position requires the performance of skilled and semi-skilled work in the construction, maintenance, operation and repair of 13.2/22.8 kV electrical distribution system.

Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and have completed three years of bookwork and three years of fieldwork in an apprenticeship program approved by the GRPU. Additional qualifications apply.
