Provide support for substance misuse & suicide prevention in Goochland & Powhatan counties. Permanent Part Time, 25 hours/week. Flexible schedule. Salary $26,286 - $27,482.

We use community data and input from many sources to create plans that influence wellness in Goochland and Powhatan. This major undertaking happens through building relationships across organizations and individuals who work together to create a measurable impact.
The type of applicant that we are seeking is a “change maker” who is passionate about seeing outcomes around suicide and drug misuse change on a large scale. This type of person is able to connect with people easily, to read and understand data, to work on collaborative teams with multiple levels of focus, and must enjoy developing social media and exploring ways to communicate public health information.
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, communications field, or public health field, and one year experience working/interning/volunteering in one of these fields.
