Glenmoor Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, CO is seeking an energetic team player with a positive attitude, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficient computer skills to enjoy the challenging and exciting position of club Controller. This is a management level position that guides and directs the financial operations of the club and is responsible for all aspects of accounting, including payroll. This person will maintain, coordinate and review all accounting activities to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled; including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Monthly Financial Statements, Budgeting, Bank Statements, and other financial reporting and activities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong analytical ability and understanding of business practices, excellent Excel skills, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. The ability to communicate effectively with a very knowledgeable Finance Committee on a high level is important. Outstanding forecasting skills is a must.
A degree in accounting or business administration is preferred along with progressively responsible financial experience and a minimum of three years in a controller or equivalent role. The club currently utilizes ClubTec club management software. Experience in the private club or hospitality industry is a plus.
