Administrative Assistant - Human Resources

Part-Time - 25 hours per week

Applications are being accepted for an Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Department of the Executive Division. This position requires strict confidentiality. Performs duties such as, input and updating HR database, maintaining and processing employee records. Clerical duties of impeccable filing, preparing packets, distribution of mail, operate office machines, order supplies and process invoices. Be able to set up and process interviews, employee training and new hire orientation. Type various documents and give keyboarding test when required.

REQUIRED: Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science, Computer Science or Business Administration, or 1-3 years related HR experience. Proficient in the use of the computer and have computer software skills including Microsoft Office software. Knowledge/experience with PowerPoint and PDF fillable a plus. Experience with HRMS software. Must be able to keyboard 45 wpm. Knowledgeable in operating office machines. Ability to review, categorize, prioritize data and multi-task with high degree of quality & proficiency as well as Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to work and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Budgeted range at $12.53 - $15.74 per hour, depending on prior experience. Excellent benefits package.
