Assistant Division Manager, WDS

GECAC is looking for an Assistant Division Manager who will support and assist the Division Manager in the Workforce Development Services (WDS) Division in departmental planning and monitoring progress. Work to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with rules & regulations. Assistant division managers are well-versed in performance and operations management and competent in assuming delegated duties. Takes response ability when the Division Manager is away & must be ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. Assist with attaining division goals and employee satisfaction.

Responsible for personnel actions with the Division. Ensures that all division programs operate in compliance with specified policies & regulations. Meets with budget Analysts in the development of all budgets. Responsible for preparing/overseeing internal and external reports. Coordinates & manages overall comprehensive service delivery system. Directs, facilitates & coordinates the WDS division delivery system to assure compliance with contractual obligations and compliance with agency goals, objectives & priorities. Responsible for ensuring that the Agency's personnel policies are adhered to. Conducts periodic program evaluations to ensure quality of service delivery system. Ensures that staff consistently delivers quality services to assist clients to achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications: Minimum BS/BA in business administration or related field; master's degree preferred. Proven experience as an Assistant Director or other similar position. Excellent organizational & leadership skills. Strong working knowledge of performance & operations management. Familiarity with nonprofit regulations and quality standards. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office & related databases and software. Exceptional communication & public speaking skills. Outstanding leadership & organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of performance & operations management. Competent collaborator & skilled cross-functional communicator.

Requirements: Must have access to private automobile & valid PA driver's license. Required to have appropriate auto insurance as required by the agency. Requires Act 33, 34 & FBI clearances which are required to be updated every 60 months as per Pennsylvania Law. Must be able to make extensive community appearances, travel to regional and state meeting and workshops and possible evening meetings. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends. Must be able to meet Immigration Law employment requirements.

Salary Range: $41,200.00 - 55,000.00 based on experience. Responsive Employer
