Child Advocacy Program Manager

Geauga County Job and Family Services is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Child Protective Services’ team to help lead the Children’s Advocacy Program. This position primarily acts as a first responder to claims of child sexual/physical abuse by conducting forensic interviews and provides court testimony. Assures program compliance and guides the team in investigation follow up, development of services and safety plans and/or referral for outside services. This position is required to participate in the rotation of the after-hours emergency line.

Requirements include bachelor’s degree in related field (master’s degree preferred), 5 years’ experience in working with children in need of protective services, or counseling persons who have experienced abuse/neglect, demonstrated supervisory experience, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and good driving record, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and FBI/BCI&I background checks. $23.73/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience, excellent benefits.
