Administrative Assistant/Administrative Specialist
Full-time position with Geauga County Job & Family Services.
This dynamic individual will assist Administrative staff in performing administrative tasks and major work duties and serves as liaison with outside agencies. Also provides clerical support to the agency; maintain accurate records, gather, collate and summarize data, construct reports, transcribe information from recordings; prepare meeting agendas and summaries, maintain & update computer files and assists with phones, front desk and processing payments. Must have knowledge of computer operations, office practice & procedures, administrative practices, and public relations issues. Requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and public speaking skills. Demonstrated experience in performing a full range of standard clerical work, mail and phone procedures, transcribing, word processing & data entry functions and spreadsheets. Proven ability to prioritize own assignments, handle/resolve problems, prepare and conduct presentations.
Must submit to FBI/BCI background checks, driving record check & drug test. Pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Base compensation $31,450.
