The Sheriff's Office consists of 144 employees dedicated to Detention, Patrol, Civil and Administration. Salaries and work schedules vary depending on the positions.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, possess a Colorado driver’s license or have the ability to obtain one, and be able to pass an extensive background investigation.
Applicants for Patrol positions must be Colorado P.O.S.T. certified or currently participating in a program to become P.O.S.T. certified in Colorado.
