FCS Financial is seeking an independent, conscientious and detail-oriented individual to join our appraisal team as a Certified General Appraiser. This Certified General Appraiser researches, analyzes, values, completes, and communicates agricultural appraisals used as a basis for lending decisions. The individual's primary job duties would include: Market Data Analysis, Appraisal Services, and Inspections.
Certified General Real Estate license is required for this role.

The Market Territory for this position is West Central Missouri. Potential office locations for this position in Missouri include Harrisonville, Springfield, Nevada, and Sedalia.
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Reports To: Vice President, Team Leader, Appraisal and Collateral Risk Management
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Management, Agriculture Business, Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics or a related field 5 years of related experience Certified General Real Estate Appraisal license is required. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Required Knowledge and Skills
Skill in using Microsoft technologies including e-mail, word and spreadsheet processing Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers and supervisor Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with co-workers Skill in understanding and applying appraisal concepts and standards Skill in reading and plotting property boundaries based on legal descriptions General knowledge of building and construction techniques and materials Skill in maintaining confidential information Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients' data.
