The Farrell Area School District is now accepting applications for the position of Business Manager. The District is located in Western Pennsylvania in Mercer County and has an enrollment of approximately 700 students with an operating budget of nearly $25 million. The School Business Administrator is responsible for administering all aspects of the school district’s fiscal activities and the overall functioning of non-educational operations.   

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, CPA and MBA strongly preferred • Five years supervisory experience in a public school district or auditing firm, preferred • Accounting of federal programs • Knowledgeable in budgeting and budget forecasting • Auditing • Tax billing/collections • Financial planning • Federal and State legislation/regulations • Accounting and reporting • Possess the ability to multitask and problem solve • Strong analytical skills • Able to work in a team environment • Excellent organization skills, and effectively supervise
