Maintenance Worker

The Elizabeth City Housing Authority is seeking a qualified Maintenance Worker. Responsible for minor repairs of dwelling units and grounds of housing developments. Performs routine carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs in response to service requests that require minimum skills. Assists in make-ready of vacant units. Performs a variety of cleaning and painting tasks. High school graduate or GED required. Three years experience in building maintenance or vocational training which involved training and/or experience in areas of carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have NC Driver's License. Salary based on experience.
