Customer Service/Payroll Clerk

The Elizabeth City Housing Authority is seeking a qualified Customer Service/Payroll Clerk. Responsible for accomplishing the Authoritys in-coming, receivables, move-out accounts and payroll functions and assists in other accounting activities. Requires knowledge of accounting procedures, computers, and accurate typing. Employee works independently. High school diploma or GED required. Two years experience in payroll and accounting related functions. Experience in data entry and bookkeeping and clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Good knowledge of HUD accounting regulations, Public Housing policies, procedures, and practices. Bondable. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
