Running Start is an opportunity for qualified students to take college courses during their junior and senior of high school. Successful completion of a course through Running Start enables a student to earn both high school and college credit.
We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position(s):
Director - Running Start: This position oversees, directs, and manages the Running Start program; ensures the program delivers information and support services in a professional and cordial manner, and efficiently assist students, faculty and staff. This position directs and manages the development of partnerships between the University and Washington State high schools, and between the University and the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Director is responsible for identifying academic programs and delivery methods for related programs, including Dual Enrollment.
Advisor/Recruiter - Running Start: This position provides advisement, recruitment and other support services to high school students participating in EWU's Running Start program. Responsibilities include providing transitional support for students from high school to admitted status at the university. The advisor/recruiter also represents EWU and the Running Start program to prospective students, families, and high school professionals.
