A State College of the University System of Georgia East Georgia State College invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Title IX, Equity and Inclusion.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coordinator of Title IX, Equity and Inclusion is responsible for Title IX, discrimination, harassment and retaliation compliance; development, delivery and oversight of Title IX programs as well as protected class discrimination and harassment programs for students, faculty and staff; providing training and oversight for compliance with federal and state laws. The Coordinator is also responsible for the investigation of student conduct cases and the conducting student conduct hearings, when not in conflict with Title IX duties. The Coordinator is also responsible for the maintenance, update, delivery and tracking of the college's annual compliance modules.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in human resources, organizational management, business administration or a field directly related to the major responsibilities of the position. At least one-year experience (full time equivalent) with Title IX, equal employment opportunity, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Experience conducting student and employment investigations, or sufficient similar experience related to the duties of this position.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in one or more of the following areas in Title IX: Coordinator, Hearing Panel, Investigator; Certified Mediator; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP Certification; Advanced degree in a related field.
