Nursing Assistant Faculty Position

Required Qualifications:

Minimum: BSN – If employed with BSN may be employed for one year and then required to complete a graduate degree Masters of Science in Nursing within the next five years. An educational contract with evidence of progression to be submitted to director annually.

• Current unencumbered New Mexico nursing license or a compact state license, or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico license to practice as a registered nurse required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.
•At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility. Must be comfortable using computer for teaching, grading and communication.
