Environmental Resources AnalystDepartment of Environmental Protection
Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation, Office of Explosives and Blasting is seeking applicants for an Environmental Resources Analyst position with experience in blasting and in the use of explosives. This position will perform highly technical research on blasting operations at surface mine sites to establishing standards for blasting activities and procedures regulated by DEP as well as blaster training responsibilities.
Training: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university with a major in chemistry, physics, geography, geology, biology, engineering, environmental studies, or natural science.
Experience: Six years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the acquisition, preservation, protection and enhancement of environmental resources, or in environmental protection, or in an agency specific area related to environmental impact.
