Position Objective: Write and inspect wetlands, native vegetation, and erosion restoration plans. Work with landowners to complete shoreline buffers, rain gardens, and pollinator habitat plantings. Enroll landowners in conservation easements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work effectively as a team with SWCD employees.
• Communicate with partners and private landowners effectively.
• Natural resources education and experience a minimum of a two-year degree.

Requirements:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Project Management and organization skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Seasonal Field work required in all weather conditions (9 to 10-hour days)
• Occasional weekends and nights as needed (meetings and events)
• Valid MN Drivers Licenses
• Lift 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications:
• Certified Minnesota Wetland Delineator
• Wetland plant and wetland soils conditions
• GIS experience and knowledge
• Native and non-native plant identification
• Knowledge or experience with Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act
• Four-year degree in Natural Resources

Full time position. Salary: $ 20.00-26.00 Hourly and $41,760-$54,288 Salary.
