Industrial Gear Service Manager
Lyman, SC - Provide Industrial Gear Sales & Systems service & technical support by managing technical complaints & providing onsite technical support.

Service & Commissioning Responsibilities: Meet U.S. sales & service requirements as established by management & grow the market for IG products; Perform and/or coordinate service on SEW-Eurodrive IG products onsite; Perform start-up commissioning on site; Generate quotations for service activities, repair works, & start-up commissioning based on established sales policies; Coordinate training of SEW-Eurodrive authorized service partners; Coordinate service activities along with SEW-Eurodrive IG Factories; Perform technical consulting based on SEW-Eurodrive technical guidelines.

Complaint Management Responsibilities: Manage complaint activities; Perform root cause analysis; Manage & perform corrective actions; Create technical customer reports on inspected and/or repaired gear units & components; Monitor complaint & warranty costs.

Repair Management Responsibilities: Manage order entry activities for repair works; Manage priorities & schedules for repair works; Development of sub-contractors for repair work.

Other Activities: Frequent travel.

Minimum Requirements: MS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related, OR BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related & 5 years experience to include experience in reading/interpreting technical documents in the industrial gear industry & experience with industry standard engineering programs. Equivalent foreign education acceptable. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
