Connecticut College Transcript Clerk
Manage transcript production & provide admin. support in various areas of the Registrar's office; respond to inquiries, credentialing/enrollment verification and diploma replacement requests.
Part Time (20 hours/week), 42 weeks/year.
Connecticut College is conducting a regional search for a Transcript Clerk to manage transcript production (paper and electronic) and provide administrative support in functional areas of the Registrar’s office: respond to in-person/telephone/email inquiries, credentialing/enrollment verification and diploma replacement requests. This position is part-time (20 hours/week), academic year (42 weeks).
The Transcript Clerk will process transcript requests for student and alumni, abiding by FERPA regulations, and monitor electronic delivery process; respond to requests; assist with paper registration process; perform work duties and day to day operations independently under general direction.
High School Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant or related position required; Bachelor’s degree and experience in higher education setting preferred. High level of integrity needed to handle confidential information; excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills; proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel) and web-based email programs; effective time management skills; accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow through with tasks; professionalism and strong commitment to customer service and a willingness and commitment to being part of a team.
