AV delivery, setup/support; minor maintenance; repair of AV/multi-media equipment.
The On-Call Media Services Technician will provide Audio Visual equipment setups to include video and data projection, wired and wireless microphones, portable and fixed sound reinforcement systems, audio mixers, and music playback from various devices; provide technical support for classroom and non-classroom media events to include troubleshooting both PC and MAC projection technologies, audio issues, and related AV issues; provide work direction and training to student workers who may be assisting to support the AV event; maintain media equipment and make minor repairs; loan appropriate media equipment to students, faculty and staff; instruct users in basic media equipment operation; other duties as assigned or as necessary.
High School Diploma and training and/or 2 years of experience that provides knowledge of media equipment use, maintenance, installation, and applications. Must have the ability to work independently and part of a team; have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have the ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the College and Community.
