Duties: Advise clients on how to build and preserve personal wealth. Sell and implement investment, banking, and trust and estate products to core clients with assistance from Investors and Wealth/Lending Advisors. Use knowledge of financial product and service offerings to advise current clients on all aspects of balance sheets and to drive new client acquisition and retention. Develop new banking business, enhance banking client experience, and engage cross-functional resources to deliver complete wealth management solutions. Service each individual account based on client profile, and ensure that proposed products and services are tailored to the client in order to maximize the client’s financial needs, goals, and objectives. Build trust with clients and develop relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Financial Analyst or related occupation. Experience can be gained prior to Bachelor’s degree completion.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: private banking client acquisition; private banking services including investments, mortgages, loans and trust and estates; articulating financial planning strategies and investment solutions to current and prospective Latin American and Spanish clients, including pre-transaction planning strategies and customized lending options; constructing private banking client profiles and wealth portfolios based on current economic conditions; global practices within the private banking industry; cross-border banking regulations and laws applied to financial planning; analyzing legal documents related to finance and estate planning; Know Your Customer (KYC) industry-wide practices; endowment and foundation clients and operations; creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro; running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; identifying, researching, and monitoring prospective clients using Wealthmonitor, Pitchbook, Crunchbase, and Google Alerts; accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Thomson Reuters Eikon and Bloomberg Terminal; and comparing potential allocation strategies and generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions using Monte Carlo Simulation analysis. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following asset class products: Global Equities; Taxable Fixed Income; Private Equity; Venture Capital; Real Estate; Hedge Funds (including Macro, Long/Short Equity, Event-Driven, and Relative Value); Mutual Funds and Liquid Alternatives; Structured Products (including Phoenix Notes, Buffered Return Enhanced Notes, Callable Enhanced Market Plus, Annual Review Notes, Credit Linked Notes, Reverse Convertibles, and Dual Directional Buffered Equity Notes); Commodities; Foreign Exchange and Rates; and Derivatives (including Listed Options, Over-the-Counter, Credit Derivatives, Asset Swaps, Credit Spread Options and Bonds, Non-deliverable Forwards, Cross-Currency Swaps, and Interest Rate Swaps).
