506 Temporary Full Time Farm worker; Crop Positions. April 7, 2019-December 1, 2019. Possible duties: Cut, core, packing, sorting, wrapping, loading: Crops: Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Celery, Green Beans, Kale, and various types of lettuce; iceberg, romaine, hearts, and green leaf. Drive tractor and harvest machines. Clean equipment. Load product to 60 lbs. and other related duties as per farm worker 45-2092 (onetonline.org) & other related Farm worker; Crop activities per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Must be 18 years of age. Lift, push, pull, unload or carry objects up to 60 lbs; may climb, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Must have 2 months Hand-harvesting perishable produce exp. No minimum education requirement.
Applicants must be willing, qualified, to perform work described and available for entire period specified. $13.92 per hour, depends on experience. Possible daily/weekly hours: 2 am-5 pm. 40+ to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Possible weekend/holiday work. Variable weather conditions may apply. OT available, not required. Employer will comply with all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to OT hours. Bonuses may apply. Transport: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transport and subsistence will be provided for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays available during the contract.
