Counselor, Parent Educator, Shelter Monitor

Counselor CYWA/Samara House Compassionate and dedicated substance abuse counselor to help provide direction and support for our clients. Counselor is responsible for developing treatment and recovery plans, and identifying behaviors that impede rehabilitation, and required to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions. 

Parent Educator CYWA/Family Center An early childhood development-based curriculum program for families in our community, and work with no more than 20 families, with children from newborn through 5 years old, and make referrals to other agencies, as appropriate. 

Shelter Monitor CYWA/Emergency Gateway Shelter Monitor residents and give support by providing resources to aid in residents transitioning to stable housing. Review resident’s daily activities, monitor schedule compliance. Assist in collection/processing/filing/dispersing of required documentation.
