Administrative Support II - Community Development
We are looking for excellence and awesomeness. A tech-savvy, professional team player with amazing customer service skills, administrative skills and drive to support our Building Inspection and Housing departments.
Responsibilities include coverage of the Building Inspection Department front desk as well as primary support duties for the Housing Department and/or Open Space and Trails Department and other Community Development Departments as needed. Duties will include public assistance, file/data management, permit issuance and follow-up, contractor registration, contract management, invoice processing, staff support, cash handling, reporting, maintenance of public information including updating website, general clerical duties and assorted miscellaneous projects as needed.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, superior customer service skills, attention to detail, be very tech-savvy with thorough knowledge of Microsoft office, and will be organized with a willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks. Also required is a sound knowledge of office procedures, experience using and troubleshooting standard office equipment, competency in handling money, basic accounting, and reporting. Must have a minimum of one year of administrative experience.
$17.35 - $19.09 hourly + excellent benefits.
