Toddler Teachers
Colorado Early Education Network (CEEN)
Early Head Start is hiring Toddler Teachers for the 2019-2020 Program Year. These positions will work with typically developing children, children with disabilities, bilingual children, and families living in poverty. Teachers serve as the lead primary caregiver in a classroom of 6-8 Early Head Start infants and toddlers.
40 hours per week; non-exempt; 52 weeks per program year; great benefits.
Pay $16.46 per hour. CEEN will pay for college coursework for eligible staff.
Minimum Requirements for Toddler Teachers:
- Current CDA or
- CDA equivalent (12 ECE credits) to include ECE 101, 103, 111 (EQIT) and
- 9 months (1,395 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of 4 or more children under 6. Or
- AA degree in ECE to include ECE 101, 103 and 111 (EQIT) and
- 6 months (910 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of 4 or more children under 6. ?Responsibilities:
- Works with a team to promote the growth and development of Infants and Toddlers
- Responsible for the weekly preparation of daily lesson plans, which includes learning objectives and developmentally appropriate activities
- Documents all child observations, individual goals, assessments.
- Maintains a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment
