Transportation Engineer

(Starting Salary: $92,787 annually, plus benefits).

Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, performs a wide variety of responsible and complex engineering-related analytical duties; conducts technical studies and prepares reports and recommendations related to traffic, transportation or other specialized subjects; provides associated administrative and staff support; interfaces with member jurisdictions, state and federal agencies, consultants, and community organizations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree plus four years active transportation planning/engineering experience. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California.
